Exhaust air from wash plants – a potential source of infection

Thorough washing of vehicles between animal transportations and/or when driving in risk areas is thoroughly described in, among others Seges - see more here her.

Are you in control of the exhaust air from your washing plant?

All the potential bacteria and viruses from a vehicle can re-infect the vehicle the moment it comes out of the washing plant. And, thats not the point.

To protect the vehicle against this re-infection, the exhaust air must be disinfected before it is released. This can be done with UVC light – efficiently and safely – with minimal maintenance. The only thing required is a bulb change at the end of the bulb’s life (after 10,000 hours of operation) – nothing else.

Here is someone who has thought things through

They have installed a duct with UV lamps, which ensures disinfection of the air in their washing plant.

The effect of UV light is dimensioned based on high humidity and relatively large amounts of air in a short time. When the UV lamps are installed in a duct, you get optimal utilisation of the light effect on bacteria and viruses and complete control of the air flow.
