We have developed a UVC system specifically for use in oil and diesel systems for disinfection of harmful microorganisms. With proper installation, our units can keep diesel in tanks free of these microorganisms.
The UVC system works by continuously circulating diesel in the tank past the UVC lamp, which is mounted in a stainless-steel reactor. The lamp in the reactor is protected by a quartz glass.
Used on land, at sea and in the air
The systems are delivered as “Plug and Play”. The unit can be installed in both 230 volt or 12/24 volt systems. Therefore, it is possible to use the unit in large land-based tanks as well as on trucks, boats, etc.
In large plants where there is a lot of air exchange, it can be an advantage to disinfect the air before it is led into the tanks. The air is disinfected with a special UV system that is adapted to the air exchange.
The UV system can be used to clean diesel, but here the UV system must be combined with filters to remove the eliminated microorganisms.
Today, our UV system is used for disinfection of water, air, surfaces, water tanks, etc. in agriculture, food production, industry, etc.

By preventing microorganisms in tanks and in systems, you can avoid breakdowns and failures in engines and generators or you can save yourself expensive tank cleaning.
The UV system and pump are easily installed in the piping or as an external connection to the tank.
